As a Vail Resorts employee, you and your eligible dependents will have access to all our owned and operated resorts in North America! Here’s everything you need to know about your access for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

Who is eligible to receive a pass?
- Full-time employees: eligible for free employee pass and free dependent passes
- Part-time employees: eligible for free employee pass and $40 dependent passes
- Holiday help (work at least 50 but less than 100 hours): eligible for free employee pass, not eligible for dependent passes
Follow the same process as prior years to get your Peak Resorts pass at your home resort. If you are eligible, you can also purchase a dependent pass at that time.
Where can I ski?
For the 2019/2020 winter season, Peak Resorts employees will have access to Vail Resorts & Peak Resorts owned properties in North America. Please make sure to follow the process below to gain access to our resorts.

Employees and dependents do not have access to our partner resorts in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Canada. Access to these resorts is reserved for guests who purchase an Epic Pass.
What’s the process to ski at all of these resorts?
Until full systems integration is completed after the 2019-20 winter season, you will not have direct-to-lift access at all resorts.
Peak Resorts employees in New Hampshire, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and New York: you have direct-to-lift access at other Peak Resorts properties in those states. If you visit a Peak Resorts property in Ohio, Missouri, or Indiana, you will need to visit that resort’s ticket window for a lift ticket. Just bring your valid employee or dependent pass.
Peak Resorts employees in Ohio, Missouri, and Indiana: you will have direct-to-lift access at all Peak Resorts locations.
All Peak Resorts employees: Peak Resorts employees will be able to access the Vail Resorts properties indicated above. To do so, you will need to take action ahead of your trip to request a pass:
- Submit the form below at least two days prior to your arrival date.
- After your request is processed, you will receive an email with the information you need to pick up your pass(es) at the indicated Vail Resorts location. You will not be able to pick up your pass until you receive this email.
- Bring your valid photo ID and Peak Resorts employee/dependent pass to the Vail Resorts location ticket window, along with the emailed information.
- If you requested dependent passes, please note that they will need to come to the ticket window with you to have their picture taken and be issued their pass.
- An adult must be present to sign the Release of Liability for any minor passes.
- Pick up your Vail Resorts pass(es) and enjoy the slopes!
Failure to follow the above instructions may result in your inability to access Vail Resorts properties for the 2019-20 winter season.
Which of my family members can receive a dependent pass?
For the purposes of the ski pass, the following family members are considered dependents:
- Your legal spouse (unless legally separated) as defined by the state in which you reside. Does not include common-law marriage spouse or domestic partner.
- Your unmarried child under the age of 19.
- Your unmarried child age 19-23 provided they are a full-time student in an accredited school and are principally dependent on you for support (e.g. named as an exemption on your most current Federal Income Tax Return and relies on you for more than 50% of their financial support).
- Your unmarried child age 19-23 provided they are volunteering full time for a qualified 501(c)3 for a minimum of 16 weeks during the course of the applicable winter season and are principally dependent on you for support (e.g. named as an exemption on your most current Federal Income Tax Return and relies on you for more than 50% of their financial support).
- An unmarried disabled child may be considered eligible beyond the age specified above if they are incapable of self-sustaining employment due to mental or physical disability and are principally dependent on you for support.
You will continue to provide dependent documentation for verification in the same way as prior years.
