At Vail Resorts, we lean into service-based leadership – it's how we interact with our guests and teammates. This summer, we received a message from guest Glen about Andrea Miralda, the Culture and Engagement Manager at the DoubleTree Breckenridge, a Vail Resorts managed property.
While visiting with his family this summer, Glen and his daughters realized on their journey home that they had lost their family bear – their mom mascot after Glen’s wife Jen died from cancer in 2020. Glen called the hotel in a panic, and Andrea answered.
