Pete Mueller, base operations manager at Hidden Valley in Missouri, was recently named a “Hospitality Hero” by Explore St. Louis for his exceptional guest service. When there was an accidental ski mix-up at the resort, Pete worked to find the correct owners for each pair of skis. One of the owners was injured that day and wasn’t able to retrieve their skis. Pete took the initiative to deliver the correct skis to the guest’s home. The guest was surprised and grateful that Pete would go so far out of his way to make the situation right again.
