Taking Care of Yourself and Others During the Shoulder Season

As we begin our shift from summer to fall, it’s normal to be tired. If you’re feeling a sense of fatigue, take a few minutes for self-reflection. Looking back on what we’ve accomplished can show us how much we’ve grown and help us feel grateful and restored.

Our peers are also here – we can reach out to the community we’ve developed in our work this season and draw on each other for strength and support. With September and Suicide Prevention Awareness Month coming to a close, we want to remind you that mental health resources are available to you through Epic Wellness, and you can use them both now and when your season is done. Check out Wellness During the Shoulder Season to learn how you can keep accessing free confidential counseling and other resources while on SIS or for up to three months after you leave Vail Resorts.

Remember that our expanded Epic Wellness program is here to support you during the upcoming holidays. You, your team members, and your family can get support 24/7 by calling (800) 873-7138 or you can complete the Digital Intake
