At Stevens Pass, ski instructor Annette founded EDGE OUTDOORS, a non-profit that creates space for adventure, growth and leadership for Black, Indigenous and Women of Color in snowsports. Through multi-week lessons, EDGE begins with learn-to-ski programs and then moves into skills improvement and developmental opportunities in avalanche education, backcountry courses and supporting women who are interested in getting involved with leadership roles in-resort, from mountain operations to guest services.
