Do Good | Describe a meaningful volunteer experience you’ve had in your life. I volunteer for an adaptive softball league every Monday night. A girl I went to high school with is in a wheel chair and asked me to join the team. I look forward to every Monday because I get to play with her and the team and it is an incredible experience to learn from them.

Have Fun | Tell us about the most fun you’ve had in the past year. Playing for the University of WI Madison (Badgers) softball team. We made it to regionals and went to Alabama for regionals.

Get inspired by Kayla’s EpicService story:

Kayla was one of the lift operators on Lift 2 on Feb. 11. A mother and daughter came up with their rental ski that had a problem with one of the bindings. Rather than sending the guests back to rentals, Kayla took the skis and ran to the rental room for them and got the skis exchanged. Jenny Catterson, the mom, talked with me in the rental room to fill me in on the rest of the story. It was a very busy day at Wilmot and they had spent a fair amount of time in line to purchase their tickets and rental vouchers. After they made their purchase, they went outside to pick up their rental equipment. They were told to walk outside and go to the left. They somehow ended up in the outdoor ticket window line and after waiting they were directed to rentals which on this particular day was also extremely busy. They finally got out to the slopes and ended up at Lift 2 with Kayla. Kayla has been a great employee even back when she first started working for me at the Tubing Area here at Wilmot.
